I recently visited germany at ZLATA. It was beautiful experience to be with world's best contortionists. I liked their hospitality. They took every care for me. My Indianness was well appreciated.

Narendra Modi, Gujarat Chief Minister and Anandiben congratulating Divya Parmar. The impotance of YOGA is being appreciated by so many other countries. They have started learning at early stage. India is still lacking initiative to learn YOGA compulsory in schools.  

 

Divya skills are very well appreciated by Interrnational institutes. India & Gujarat can come forward and honor her for her achievement as YOGA VAHINI, 3 Gold medal in Intenational events, but still not recognised much in INDIA.

Sardar Patel Award for YOGASAN in 2005-06 by Gujarat government , at my initial carrer, this award was so dear to me.

Gujarat government presented  EKLAVYA AWARD  for YOGA during 2006-07 for outstanding performance. It was a a moment of my life to receive it.

MONEY does matter, My father had small businesss and mother was pharmasist. My father then had to concentrate on my YOGA career and visited with me at many places for my particiaption events. His business was so closed. But many persons cam forward to help us out. I am thankful to all those who directly or indirectly helped me to win the YOGA international events 3 times in a row. Sponsers do come, but mainly after one become successful. Sponsers needed when a talent is struggling to reach the excellence. I request all those coproarate sector to identify talents and support them financially for coaching, travelling, and promotion. 

 

Divya Parmar : Yoga Princess award at jamshedpur.

I had participated at Jamshedpur JRD TATA Sports complex. It was III All India YOGA BEAUTY & YOGA TALENT Competition. I was awarded YOGA PRINCESS award there. Parents have to support participation in schools, state events and antional events, many times at the cost of schooling also. It takes money & time both. But without participation in competition, one cannot achieve & improve level of performance & excellence.

 

Divya Parmar : Yoga should get place in OLYMPICS.

INDIAN Government should make efforts to include YOGA in OLYMPICS. Also INDIA should identify others game which can be taken for international events and even in Olympics. Indian school education system need to focus on various games and train talents for national & international events.

 

In any game, also in YOGA, daily practice is necessary. But today students and parents are not giving importance to DAILY training concept. Only vacation camp may not be enough. Yoga helps in good health as well as reduces stress and improve memory also.

I am Divya Parmar, from town Borsad in Anand district of Gujarat India.
Like to create awareness on Contortionist in India among school students and youth, through my performances.
It was a long journey to reach here, and still continuing to excell further.

I started as YOGA performer during my primary school days.
My father was my 'STRENGHTH', providing all the support anytime, anywhere.
Winning Medals at various competition is my passion since childhood. Narendra Modi, chief miniter handed me certificated on 15 August, ands thenafter motivated me to excell further after seeing my performance on stage. Video link below.

I had a dream of becoming PILOT and fly high in the sky. Prize money which I earned and scholarship from government and with the support of my father, I went to CANADA for my pilot training. Theafter coming back to India, I also joined Flying Acedemy at Vadodara. My dream video below.
